LHA Local Housing Allowance Rates Cardiff

From April 2008 Housing Benefit changed with the introduction of Local Housing Allowance (LHA).

LHA only applies to tenants who:

• Make a new claim for Housing Benefit
• Change Address
• Have had a break in their claim since 7th April 2008

LHA only applies to tenants who are in the private rental sector. It does not affect Housing Association tenants or Council tenants.
